![]() I saw The Matador last night. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone I'd talked to had said how great it was, and you know what that means. The wife was less impressed, but she has a hard time enjoying characters as amoral as Brosnan and Kinnears are. It was a nice night out without the kiddies anyway. It also reminded me of the time my parents took me and my brother to a bull fight in Mexico as kids. I think it's one of those kinds of experiences that stay with you the rest of your life. Not in a bad way either. Even watching a matador getting severely gored in front of a packed crowd was kinda surreal. Lots and lots of blood. A good time was had by all and we had a nice steak dinner afterward. Or some tacos or something. Something with beef though. |
