It's a semi-sad day in that Kevin is hanging up his spurs at Catch.  I'll miss visiting my old friends there from time to time.  I'm sorry I haven't spent more time with y'all over the last year.  My life has changed so much since I moved out to Cali.  I feel nostalgic for the "old" days when I could sit in my office, undisturbed, for 9 hours a day talking to the coolest, funniest, most interesting people.  I sometimes wondered if it was all in my head...

I know this is going to sound totally pathetic, but when I discovered Catch back in '02 I was in a long, deep, self-pitying funk.  But once I started becoming a member of the Catch community, and got some small (huge to me) ego strokes from the growing community there, my self confidence really took off.  I can't believe that such a simple thing could make such a huge impact in my life.  I know for a fact that I am a better more complete person now than I was before becoming part of that community.  In other words, I felt like I belonged somewhere. 

Geez, this sounds so mushy and pitiful, but I think everyone, deep down, has had, or is looking for something like that in life.  Anyway, I think I've finally "graduated" to be a well rounded confident person.  I'm not going to say that it was ALL because of Catch, but it sure was a catalyst.  Thanks Kevin, Joe, Raminta, Nikki, Ham, Bill, Esther, Sarah, Rod, Lady P, Bish, Rob Pongi <*v*>, Robert (sof taco), sparky (wherever you are), AE, touchy, Sheep et. al.  Hopefully we can all stay somewhat in touch in the years to come. 

And Kevin and Chris, I've got a bottle of Jamesons waiting for you if you're ever out my way.
